The WeDo 2.0 Core Set comes with a Smarthub that takes 2 AA batteries but this WeDo Smarthub Rechargeable Battery will make it easier to keep your Smarthub powered and ready for action! You can see the state of the battery through the Smarthub’s built-in LED.

The lithium-ion polymer battery provides a longer run time than AA batteries, and requires a charge time of approximately three hours.
