CURRICULUM
LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 is the perfect resource for teaching computing, science, technology, engineering and maths. The free software includes a progression of activities that helps students and teachers get started with building and programming. There are also more advanced suggestions and guides that will challenge the most able learners from Year 4 through to Year 13 and beyond!
SOFTWARE AND APPS
The LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 software and app works with Windows 7, 8 or 10, macOS, Chrome OS, iOS and Android. They can be downloaded for free from www.legoeducation.com/downloads and the App Store or Google Play Store. Students drag programming blocks onto a working space, link the blocks together and change variables in the blocks to create simple and complex programs. They send their program to the EV3 brick via Bluetooth or USB cable and watch the resulting action. The software can also be used for data logging, alongside the EV3 brick and sensors.
There is a built-in documenting tool so that students can record and save their experience for assessment purposes if required.
Please check the system requirements to ensure your devices are compatible with the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 software before you purchase.
