LEGO® Education BricQ Motion Prime set engages secondary school pupils in STEAM learning as they experiment with forces, motion and interactions in the context of sports. It provides fun, hands-on learning experiences that are easily accessible, as pupils set LEGO bricks in motion without the need for technology.
This 562-piece set includes an extensive selection of special elements, such as gears, wheels, balls, weights, pneumatics and 4 minifigures (and spare parts too!) Colour-coded sorting trays also ease the building process and support classroom resource management. Printed building instructions with inspirational ideas are included which help pupils discover physical science in action.
This STEAM experience provides 1 unit of 7 x 45 minute, curriculum-aligned lessons that include everything from engaging videos and printable worksheets that excite and inspire pupils, to lesson plans, teacher videos, assessment rubrics and maths and English extensions that support teachers. BricQ Motion Prime is also supported by a comprehensive professional development programme.
In addition to the classroom-based set, there is also an optional Personal Learning Kit (PLK) available which is a fantastic resource to enable pupils to continue their learning experience outside of the classroom.
